Our Story
In a cozy café one afternoon, Erik and Dominik found themselves diving deep into a conversation about their interests. Erik, with a background in business information, was intrigued by the emotional impact of aromas. Dominik, a sales manager, was fascinated by the power of words to evoke feelings and transport minds. As the coffee cups emptied, they stumbled upon a shared passion that neither had explored in depth before: the world of perfume.
“Why don’t we combine our skills to create something unique?” Dominik suggested. “A blog that tells the stories behind different scents, making them come alive through words and visuals.”
Erik was instantly on board. “I love it. We can make each post an immersive experience, where the reader not only learns about the perfume but feels like they’re part of its world.”
And that’s how “Scented World” came to be a blog that’s not just a guide to fragrances, but a multisensory exploration of the stories and emotions they evoke.
About Erik
Let me introduce myself. My name is Erik, and I am one of the founders of scentedworld. For over 7 years I have been intensively involved in the fascinating world of fragrances, with a special focus on niche perfumes. What once started as a personal passion has developed into an in-depth research, which I would now like to share with you. My goal is to help you find as much joy and even more in the world of perfumery as I do.
Professionally, I work as a business information scientist, which provides an interesting contrast to my creative streak in fragrances. In my spare time, you can often find me playing sports, browsing perfumeries, or enjoying a cup of coffee in one of the many cute little cafes I love. I would love to share my enthusiasm and knowledge with you and accompany you on your fragrance journey.
What is my favorite fragrance to wear? Difficult question. But if I had to choose one, it would be La Capitale by Xerjoff. Or Erba Pura. Or Salam by Anfas? In the end, it always depends on my mood, the occasion, and the season.
About Dominik
Hello fellas, my name is Dominik and I am a passionate perfume fan. For several years I have been involved in the world of fragrances, my preferences are mainly in the field of designer perfumes. For a long time I thought about how I could share my acquired knowledge and my enthusiasm for perfume with others. That’s why I decided to start this blog together with Erik.
Professionally, I am self-employed in sales, which gives me the flexibility to combine my two passions. In my free time, I can either be found in the gym, as I’m a big fan of bodybuilding, or trying out new fragrances and perfumes, always looking for the next olfactory inspiration.I look forward to sharing my experiences and knowledge of designer fragrances with you and am excited about this shared journey into the world of scents.
If I had to choose one fragrance, I couldn’t make up my mind. But I’m sure it will be either Bad Boy by Carolina Herrera or Gentleman by Givenchy. Depending on how good a mood I’m in and what the day still brings…
